Want to feel valued and respected and truly part of great team? We are flexible, laid-back, treat all employees with respect, and allow working from home.

About the role
The job is to do the items described herein and document the path of doing these things. The non-attorney salesperson is informed and respectful of bar rules of ethics and professionalism, with special emphasis on the definition of providing legal services. You see sales as a service we perform for our prospective clients, not as something to be done “to” them. You also believe that, while we cannot fix everyone’s problems, our community could be uplifted by connections to our trusted referral partners. You ensure that potential new clients (PNCs) understand the weight of their current issues, the solutions that the firm can provide, and the value of our firm as a resource, and then prepare them for their first engagement with the legal team. The non-attorney salesperson meets by telephone and Zoom with PNCs and will record calls so they can be reviewed for competency and quality. This position keeps detailed notes in Clio Grow about the PNC both before and after representation. This position must become a master at capturing a problem but leaving the solutions to the legal team and then hand off the legal team.  Related to that, all administrative steps of opening a file will be handled by the person in this  position. The non-attorney salesperson also conducts calls at the close of a legal matter and after services are provided to determine if LLF can lift up the PNC in any way, which also serves the purpose of developing repeat business. The successful candidate should have prior experience selling high-ticket products and professional or financial services utilizing a consultative selling methodology that interprets sales to be an act of love and investment. The successful candidate should have some sophisticated business experience which they can use to empathize with PNCs who often come to our firm with challenging and sometimes deeply personal and emotional situations. Successful candidates embrace technology, metrics, scorekeeping, transparency, and accountability. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills by phone and via email are required. You must understand your role within the system of providing services, the importance of your role, and the limits of your role. You should be a lifelong learner with a proven track record of self-improvement to keep your sales skills sharp. You will need humor and humility to engage with our customers and existing team.
